REV TV Gets Exclusive Rights to the 2021 Olympic Games

REV TV sports fans have good reason to celebrate knowing that the exclusive rights to the 2021 Olympic Games have been secured by REV TV. For the first time in history, REV TV has secured the exclusive Cable Television rights to offer full coverage of the 2021 Olympic Games live from Tokyo, Japan.
The 2021 Olympics will begin with its opening ceremony held on Friday, July 23rd, . ​All REV TV subscribers will have access to the opening ceremony along with coverage of all major games on two 24/7 dedicated channels, hosted by IMC, REV TV Channels 242 and 244. OUR TV, channel 212 will also be airing the Opening Ceremony live.  Sixteen additional channels will be offered with even further coverage of the games and will be free to REV Trio subscribers but will require an additional one-time fee of $9.99 for non-Trio subscribers. These additional channels can be found on REV Channels 751-766.

REV Donates More than $50,000 to Education

Through Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Awards Partnership REV – The nation’s only 100% Bahamian Owned triple play provider brought its collective cash donation to The Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Awards Programme to more than $50,000. This is REV’s 3rd consecutive year of serving as title sponsor for the premier educational awards programme for elementary school students in the Bahamas. As part of a 5-year agreement launched in 2019, each year REV donates $15,000 in cash to the programme with $7,000 of that sponsorship going directly towards a scholarship for the winning student. This donation is separate from in-kind donations in the form of media production, free advertising and air time on OUR TV. On Sunday July 4th, 2021 dozens of anxious students and proud parents gathered in the Church of God Auditorium on Joe Farrington Road, eager to discover which student would receive the top honour. With a pool of nominees made up of 100 of the best and brightest primary school students in The Bahamas, competition was fierce to say the least. At the end of the ceremony Chelsea Smith of Windsor Preparatory Academy walked away with the title of Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year. Mr. Franklyn Butler II CEO of the Cable Bahamas Group of Companies was in attendance and shared during his remarks, “I speak on behalf of REV and The Cable Bahamas group of Companies when I say that we are proud to celebrate our 3rd consecutive year of serving as title sponsor for The Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Awards Ceremony. We believe that the magnitude of our investment speaks to our belief in the work the that BPSSOTY does within our communities.
