Chris Annesley

Chris Annesley is Vice President of Engineering, responsible for Engineering, and Network Operations.  This leadership role encompasses responsibility for the overall strategy, design, engineering and network operations of Cable Bahamas converging networks, as well as the quality, speed and efficiency in which we serve residential, small business, enterprise and wholesale customers across our domestic and national footprint.  Accountabilities for this position will also include managing relationships with Consultants, Carriers, Venders and Suppliers.
 
Chris has embellished over 35 years in the Telecommunications industry working in a full service provider environment by offering video, voice, data and cellular services.  During his tenure most of Chris’ experience was focused in Network Operations and Engineering.  Some of his key achievements was the implementation of CBL’s voice and data network as well as the roll out of Aliv’s mobile network which seen a greenfield startup to an in-service launch in 6 months.
 
Prior to this role, Chris spent 30 years with SaskTel a Canadian full service telecommunications provider.  He was selected and held a number of senior leadership positions with SaskTel International, a subsidiary of SaskTel, spearheading consulting, design, deployment, support, system integration and managed services.  Chris’ assignments have taken him in excess of 20 cities, 10 countries and 4 continents, of particular significance were greenfield startups offering Comminution services in Leicester, England and Wellington, New Zealand supplemented by a number of consulting services in USA and Dubai.
