Cable Bahamas CEO Highlighted as Top Millennial

Franklyn Butler II nominated for Top 49 Millennial Awards by Project Bahamas

 

Mr. Franklyn Butler II, CEO of Cable Bahamas Limited has been selected as one of the Top 49 Millennials for 2022 by Project Bahamas. The awards program, which was created to highlight the millennial movers and shakers within the country was created by founder Stephen Sands in hopes of shedding light on some of the young people making significant positive change within our community.

When asked about his thoughts on his nomination Mr. Butler had this to say. It’s great to see the future of our great country be recognized and to know we have such a great diverse group of leaders moving our country forward and redefining the possible in so many spheres”.

Mr. Butler has made history as the first Bahamian CEO of Cable Bahamas Limited, as well as the youngest CEO, starting his current role at 35 years of age. He has distinguished himself as a strong supporter of community initiatives like the Salvation Army. He has also established a strong presence as a strategic leader in business during his tenure as Chairman of the Board for Milo B. Butler and Sons as well as AML Foods Limited.

The awards program included a social media campaign where nominees were invited to post their photo along with a special frame stating Im a nominee. Project Bahamas also hosted a special pinning ceremony on July 20th at Living Waters Kingdom Ministries. These activities will culminate in a special awards ceremony being hosted in the Atlantis Movie Theater on Saturday August 6th at 6:00 PM.
