Rawiya Hanna Rahming – VP legal and Regulatory

Rawiya Rahming joined Cable Bahamas as the VP of Legal & Regulatory of Cable Bahamas Group in January of 2021. She is responsible for managing the team responsible for the Legal and Regulatory affairs of the Group.

Prior to joining the Cable Bahamas Executive Team, Rawiya worked in the financial services sector for over 17 years during which time she served in various senior management roles at some global financial institutions, including Director of the Board, Head of Trust Team and Vice President, and Senior Manager – Fund Administration. Before working in the financial services sector, she was an associate in a small family legal practice, where she gained a wealth of experience in various aspects of the law.

She represented clients in all phases of civil and criminal litigation in all courts in The Bahamas. Rawiya earned her JD from University of Maryland School of Law in 1999. She was licensed to practice law in the state of Florida in 2000 and was admitted to the Bahamas bar in 2001.
