Cable Bahamas Business Solutions Gifts Huawei Smartboard to Trinity Christian Schools

Primary School Students enjoy brand new technology.

Second grade students at Trinity Christian Schools were leaping with excitement as they used their new Huawei IdeaHub Smartboard as part of their studies this school year. The board which was delivered in the summer of 2022 have proven to be a happy addition for both students and teachers alike.

The top of the line smart board allows students to engage in exciting interactive programs and game play, and for teachers to access a plethora of apps live, many of which they were using to engage their students during the remote learning process. The school’s Principal, Mrs. Gillian Thompson expressed her gratitude to Cable Bahamas Business Solutions, and Cable Bahamas VP of Business Solutions Mrs. Charnette Thompson for organizing the donation. The IdeaHub retails for approximately $10,000.

Mrs. Charnette Thompson Vice President of CBBS expressed her joy in being able to offer such a substantive donation to both education and entrepreneurship. “We know now more than ever the critical role that technology plays in education. We consider it our business at CBBS to engage and invest with our students in a tangible and meaningful way.”

Mrs. Gillian Thompson, Principal of Trinity Christian Schools also noted, “We are thankful to Cable Bahamas for this generous gift and specifically Mrs. Charnette Thompson and Mrs. Joan Albury who brought our school to her attention. Our students and teachers love the device and look forward to a great semester.”

This is the 6th smart board donated by Cable Bahamas Business Solutions. Previous recipients include the Ministry of Education and Access Accelerator (Small Business Development Centre).
