Cable Bahamas Business Solutions Partners with SBDC to Launch Corporate Connections Radio Segment with Y-98.

Cookie Caterer Joins Show to Talk About Success Stories and Best Practices

Cable Bahamas Business Solutions the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) are pleased to announce the launch of a new radio segment on the Y-98 radio station called “Corporate Connections.” This new segment will feature interviews with small business owners and entrepreneurs who have benefited from the services and support provided by CBBS, the leading technology and telecommunications company in the Bahamas and SBDC, as well as share best practices for success.

The first segment which aired Thursday, March 29th featured Gregory Collie, President of the Cookie Caterer, a local bakery specializing in delicious cookies and ice cream treats joined the show and expressed his gratitude for the guidance and support provided both Cable Bahamas Business Solutions and the SBDC organization.

“It was a great opportunity for us to share our story and connect with potential customers,” said Collie. “We are passionate about our business and take great pride in the journey that has led us to where we are. We were happy to join the program with Cable Bahamas Business Solutions and the Small Business Development Center which both were instrumental in helping to move us forward and establish operational efficiencies that make it possible for me to continue to connect with my customer.”

The segment, “Corporate Connections,” will air the third Wednesday of every month on Y-98 radio station. In the first episode, listeners had the opportunity to hear from Mr. Collie who has built a successful cookie catering business. During the on-air interview, he shared some success stories and discussed challenges he faced along the way, as well as provided insights into the best practices that helped him grow his business.
