Cable Bahamas Group Serves as Major Sponsor for NACAC this weekend

CBBS, Aliv, and OUR TV is outfitting the track and field event with coms technology valued at more than $150K

 

The Cable Bahamas Group is proud to serve as major sponsor the Anita Dougherty NACAC Games being held in Grand Bahama this weekend. This inaugural event will host teams from both North and Central America as they come together to compete  on our shores.

The games will take place at the Grand Bahama Sports Complex where thousands of fans are expected to attend. The competition officially begins Friday August 19th at 9:00 AM. A special opening ceremony will be held on Friday at 6:00 PM. A number of dignitaries including Prime Minister Hon. Phillip Davis are expected to be in attendance.

Several of the brands within the  have teamed up to make the event a success by providing tangible support through both cash and in-kind services.  Cable Bahamas Business Solutions will provide world class fibre connectivity and OUR TV will be providing live coverage, all weekend long on both REV TV Channel 212 and streaming live on Facebook. Aliv is also supporting with free devices and a substantial cash injection.

Mrs. Charnette Thompson, Vice President of Business Solutions at Cable Bahamas shared her enthusiasm regarding the partnership. It is our pleasure to invest in the inaugural  NACAC Games. Our athletes work hard and give their best in hopes of making our country proud. We are honored to support them doing what they do best, by doing what we do best, enable connected lifestyles and experiences. We will be providing a host of connectivity solutions valued at more than $100,000 during the course of the weekend. This will service all internal systems related to the games along with the necessary bandwidth to facilitate streaming live on OUR TV and the international networks who will also be streaming the events. We are excited to take advantage of this opportunity to fulfill our mandate of connecting individuals and communities and looking forward to a great weekend.

Viewers will be able to watch the competition live all weekend  on OUR TV REV TV Channel 212 and the REV Facebook page.
