Service Disruption for Rev Customers
A network upgrade results in extended disruption to REV customers
REV wishes to extend their apologies to the communities in New Providence which experienced an extended disruption to REV services during the June 20th scheduled network upgrade.
The communications provider shared that they encountered unforeseen complications during the early morning maintenance which left approximately 25% of residential customers in New Providence with service disruptions for an extended period of time.
Chief Technology Officer, Stephen Curran said, “We experienced difficulties with underground cabling and when combined with the inclement weather resulted in the extended delays. Our team of engineers worked through the night to restore services as quickly as possible”
