New App Helps REV Users Expand Their Curiosity

Cable Provider adds incredible OTT app to its TV offering

REV is pleased to announce that all REV TV subscribers will now be able to enjoy the CuriosityStream App as part of their package, absolutely FREE!

The CuriosityStream app allows users to carry their favourite CuriosityStream content with them wherever they go. It is compatible with virtually any device, and users will be able to enjoy hours of on-demand content anywhere they have an active broadband connection.

In Fall of 2019 REV added CuriosityStream TV to its cable TV line-up on channel 260 as part of its Prime package. The channel, which was launched by John Hendricks, the visionary founder of Discovery Channel aims to spark and satisfy curiosity in viewers has seen great success in the local market with its award-winning programs and documentaries that cover topics varying from space explorations, to ancient historical discoveries and even the secret lives of pets. CuriosityStream was created to help viewers explore their passions and discover new ones. The CuriosityStream app gives users access to thousands of these titles, many of them exclusive to CuriosityStream.

100% of content on the app appears in HD quality making it easy to see the stunning details of the programs presented. The app’s vast, exclusive library includes thousands of hours of educational content which are perfect for expanding personal knowledge and is sure to prove an excellent resource for families adjusting to new home-school/hybrid school routines with a kid friendly filter to ensure that all educational content is age appropriate.

The CuriosityStream app is one of several OTT apps integrated in the REV TV Platform. Hundreds of customers have been enjoying free access to apps like HBOGO as part of their REV TRIO subscription.

The CuriosityStream app can be viewed on a wide variety of mobile devices, smart TV’s, gaming consoles and streaming devices including: iOS/Android mobile devices, desktop/laptop computers , Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 1, Amazon Fire TV/ Fire Stick, Samsung, LG, Sony and Vizio TVs.

Each account can host up to 3 devices with 3 simultaneous streams allowing multiple users per household to watch what they want, when they want, wherever they want, commercial free, 24 hours a day.

REV TV customers who wish to use the CuriosityStream App can do so by following these instructions:

1: Download CuriosityStream from iOS or Android App stores

2: Launch App and click “Sign In”

3: Select ‘Sign in with Provider’ and choose REV

4: Sign in using your MYREV credentials & enjoy!

Subscribers can switch from other providers to TRIO, or upgrade their current REV services to all three services (TV, internet and home phone) with TRIO, by calling 601-8992 or emailing TRIO@cablebahamas.com now.

Existing REV TV customers can also download and use REVGO Play from https://www.rev.bs/tv/revgo-play/ and existing REV voice customers can download and use REVGO Voice from https://www.rev.bs/phone/revgo-voice/ , both apps are free to download.
