Pursuant to Rule 15.1 of the Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority’s Regulation of Retail Prices for SMP Operators – Rules [ECS 06/2014], Cable Bahamas Ltd. wishes to inform its REVTV subscribers that it will launch its REVGO Play App 14 calendar days from today. REVTV subscribers can expect the following: REVGO Play will be made available to all REVTV subscribers at no additional cost; The app will be available to all mobile subscribers, irrespective of their mobile provider (data charges may vary based on provider); Delivery of up to 50 live TV channels, and 12 local radio stations depending on their TV subscription package and on up to three devices at one time; Only local broadcast channels will be available to users outside The Bahamas; The option to record a total of twenty hours of programming from up to 31 available nDVR channels; Additional key features include nDVR, catch up and restart TV; Customers can contact REV Support on 1-242-300 2200 or visit here for additional information.

REV utilizes WhatsApp as business tool

“Company focuses on fostering customer oriented environment"
Leading communications giant REV from Cable Bahamas recently launched a new initiative for customers to reach them. “We all use WhatsApp in our personal lives and now we’re harnessing this application for business purposes” says Marketing Manager, Melissa Colebrook. “REV is definitely meeting our customers in the space they want us to.” The Marketing Manager emphasized the importance that the company places on listening to their customers and implementing realistic, value added services.

REV announces Centric renaming to BET HER

“Network Aligns itself with BET Brand”— Cable Bahamas (CBL) announced that it’s official, the first entertainment network targeting black women has renamed from Centric to BET HER. Starting September 25th, the network channel, which can be found on REVTV channel 380 will look a little different. Described as “Her World. Her Way”, the brand refresh brings the network more aligned with its flagship brand BET.
“REV is gladly embracing Centric’s rebranding to BET HER,” says REVTV Product Coordinator M’khel Ferguson. “A huge segment of our subscribers are women between the ages of twenty five to fifty four, which is the channel’s target audience.” Ferguson continued, “We are committed to sourcing content to delight our subscribers and BET Her definitely fits the bill.”

Cable Bahamas advises its valued subscribers that effective immediately, due to recent changes to programme licensing in our region, we are required to black out WWE programming, including programmes RAW Live, Smackdown Live, and Experience, which air on USA Network, REVTV channel 465.

Cable Bahamas Deploys Team to Assess Network post Hurricane Irma

“Restorations efforts underway on all impacted islands”
NASSAU, THE BAHAMAS (Wednesday, September 13th) — Cable Bahamas executive and COO, John Gomez asserts that the communications giant was pleased to see the rapid restoration of REV services for customers that experienced disruptions in their services over the weekend due to the effects of Hurricane Irma on the islands of Eleuthera and New Providence. Gomez confirmed that ten percent of the nodes were impacted in New Providence and forty seven percent impacted in Eleuthera. The executive continued that, “within twelve hours of the ‘All-Clear’ being issued, all impacted nodes were restored.”
